At one time in my life there was nothing and I felt alone to this world that has now become the dream that I wished come true as a child. You dream of being happy, successful, in love and just content with what you do in your life. I dream of this American dream and realize that it is what you make out of it. Its not about the dream that everyone else wants or pictures for you. Its about the dream you live. The ideals and passions that You breath everyday. And so today, not long ago yesterday and the future I breath as a Graphic Artist, DJ and Producer and most importantly… A Father.

Lets start with this… Graphic Design. I started school back in 2002 and fell in love with the art of creating on a computer. I spent a year in school and learned all of the fundamentals of the various programs I would later find the to be the back bone of my finance. Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Quark (Hated It), Javascript (Still dont really get it), HTML and Lightwave 3D (The best 12 weeks of school). I was never good in school so I was very suprised and extremely happy with my finishings with a 3.7 GPA. (The Highest in school Ever!) Who would have known that me, I, Lukasz would ever be smart and enjoy something!!

Time to set off into the world and make that money that I invested… right. That worked. My first position was as an intern and it was great knowledge bestowed upon me, but the religious stuff had to go. Thats right, I did graphic design for a pastor and I had to commute home for 1.5 hours! Did I mention that I didnt get paid? I still dont know if it was worth it. I guess if you ever think of any of the things that they showed you, it was worth it. I couldnt listen past the evangolism to learn anything. So I gave up with that. Spent a year of my life at school and ended up back where I started. Without a Job. So then I decided I needed to further my skills and I applied to the Art Institute of California San Francisco. I got it! I spent a year there meeting really cool people. Learning a lot about fine arts (Huge Help). Finally ending it with dropping out because I thought that it was a waste of my time. I should of stayed. that was 2004… 3 years later, I get hired at PodShow as a production assistant and end up moving into a design position! Finally! Online Media Manager. Sounds expensive huh?! The pay didnt matter because the Job was, and is awesome. I do design Monday - Friday and sometimes on the weekends because of some crazy project. I have learned how to edit video, create motion graphics and create some of my ever favorite graphics for the PodShow websites. The structure is the same throughout but it is always a challenge because its never the same concept. Everything from Covergirl to Sony. AOL, Myspace, Facebook and all of the other big guys out there. The company is awesome! Its growing and it really has some inovative features. But as all start-ups go… they need some work. But thats why I am there. To make it better. Theres more but I will continue later.
